CarFit Auto Event sponsored by AARP

AARP is sponsoring a CarFit Event in the church parking lot on Saturday. CarFit is an educational program created by the American Society on Aging and developed in collaboration with AAA, AARP and the American Occupational Therapy Association. The event is for older drivers and to educate them how to have a safe and comfortable fit in their vehicles.

Can I Have the Keys to the Car?

On one hand, we can view Confirmation Sunday as a sort of “right of passage”.  Our young brothers and sisters in Christ are taking responsibility for not only their spiritual development, but the mantle of making disciples as the charge given to them by Christ.  But, like all of us, they will never do this alone. As the church, we are to support, empower and share in what it means to be a follower of Christ as a community.
