Have a prayer request? Email us and your prayer need will be sent to the pastoral staff and Prayer Team. We are here to pray with anyone who needs the strength to make it through one more day; the wisdom to make a tough decision; the love to choose a changed life. If you would like a pastor to call you, please include that in your e-mail.

Christian Counseling Center

St. Stephen’s is now a satellite location for Family Therapy of Albuquerque for providing Christian counseling services to our community. Family Therapy of Albuquerque will provide 2 professional counselors who are licensed with the State of New Mexico. Linda Coble, a long-time member at St. Stephen’s, has been hired as one of the counselors and will initially be using Room 18 for her clients. It is anticipated that Family Therapy of Albuquerque will be locating another counselor here in Room 17 in the near future. We are excited about this partnership which allows us to expand our ministry; provides the availability of counseling services right here at St. Stephen’s; and provides an outreach to the local community.

New Ministry: The Challenge of Life
As part of our effort to continue to provide assistance to you, St. Stephen’s is implementing a new ministry entitled “The Challenge of Life.”  The purpose is to provide a Christian friend to walk with you during those difficult times of life; someone who has “been there” and who can truly empathize with you.  While not giving advice, he or she can share their own experiences, which may provide valuable insight for you.

If you are going through a difficult time right now and believe that this ministry would be beneficial to you; or, if you would like to be a Challenge of Life minister and help others please contact Pastor Todd or Pastor Reuben.  Brochures and additional information are available at the Welcome Center. Please be assured that the strictest levels of confidentiality will be maintained.
