Youth Connections - Service Opportunities

Here are just some of the ways that our students can get involved in the church and/or community. Please contact Michelle Roach at mroach@ssumc.com if you are interested in serving in any of these areas.

In the Church...

Worship Service (8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:00am)

• Greeters
• Ushers
• Welcome/Information table
• Reading the Announcements (Connections)
• A/V and Sound System

Children’s Program (8:00am, 9:30am, and 11:00am)

• Nursery Assistant
• Children’s Sunday School Assistant (9:30am)
• Nursery Play-n-Worship Teacher (9:45)
• Sunday School Check-in & Welcome Table (9:20)
• Children’s Church Assistant (11:00am)

In the Community...

Mark your calendars - April 16th is the church-wide work day.  We will be scheduling the youth to do some touch-up painting in the Children's Worship Center and we will finish up painting the youth area.
